ACCOUNTING SERVICES

Flexibility is key to providing great accounting services. During our initial consultation we will work with you to develop exactly how much or how little you would like us to help. Here are some examples of the different types of accounting services we provide:

Full-Service Off-Site Bookkeeping

We collect all financial information from you monthly and maintain your financial records at our office.

Accounting Adjustments

We welcome and encourage you to be engaged in your financial reporting. If you want to tackle the day-to-day accounting but need us to clean things up occasionally, we can help in whatever time interval suits you best – monthly, quarterly, or annually.

PAYROLL SERVICES

Payroll can be a time-consuming hassle. Let us handle your payroll needs so you can focus on running your business. We provide the following payroll services:

Full-Service Payroll

You provide us the time cards/pay info and we prepare actual payroll checks (or direct deposit payments). We will also make all necessary tax deposits and prepare all related payroll tax returns.

Payroll Tax Reporting & Compliance

We take the payroll information you have created and prepare all necessary payroll tax filings. This service is generally offered on a quarterly basis, as most payroll tax returns are due quarterly.

ASSURANCE & ATTESTATION SERVICES

Businesses are often required to provide creditors/investors with financial statements containing a specified level of CPA assurance. Here are the different levels of CPA assurance, which range from No Assurance to Positive Assurance:

Prepared Financial Statements

These financial statements are often prepared in conjunction with bookkeeping services. They contain no assurance that they are prepared correctly within the given accounting framework. We would be happy to provide you Prepared Financial Statements as part of any bookkeeping engagement.

Compiled Financial Statements

A compilation involves us taking your financial statements and making formatting adjustments to bring them in accordance with the given accounting framework. There is no assurance provided on the numbers contained within, only that the formatting is correct. Please let us know if you would like to discuss a compilation engagement.

Reviewed Financial Statements

A review of financial statements allows us to express negative assurance on the numbers contained within. It involves a series of discussions with management, analytical procedures, and the development of significant expectations. If satisfied, the CPA attaches a report that states that “nothing came to our attention” that would indicate the numbers are not in accordance with the applicable framework. We provide limited Review services. Please contact our office for more information.

Audited Financial Statements

An audit represents the highest level of assurance, positive assurance. It is a highly detailed process involving all the steps of a review plus testing individual account balances, confirmations of assets, and testing of internal controls. If satisfied, the CPA attaches a report that indicates that the financial information is in accordance with the applicable framework. We do not currently provide any audit services; however, should you require audited financial statements we can assist you in locating the services of another firm.
